Edgware Central

London | 2021-

Ballymore have defined the development of Edgware Central as an important new typology of landscape/urban realm for the residents and local community while providing a variety of retail, work and residential spaces within the built development. A contemporary landscape is flexible in its activation, oscillating from backdrop to daily life, to supporting the most active and prominent public events. Through the selection of robust materials and intelligent detailing, the design life of a project can be extended and support the widest possible selection of public activities.

Designed by Gustafson Porter + Bowman, this new public realm and gardens, will be a fully accessible series of streets and squares that connects the surrounding residential area into a vibrant Station Road. Our landscape projects are recognised for their quality of design which can define new urban spaces, and stimulate activity and movement through them. Whether an existing historic core or new development, the concept is developed around the immediate environment, and the story it can tell.

The development of Edgware Central will bring new activities and people to a disconnected part of Edgware, including welcoming entrances, accessible primary routes, defined character areas, layered landscape concept, playable landscapes and a residential podium garden.
