Sibylla is passionate about creating distinctive, beautiful and robust landscapes, and is engaged in the daily running of the practice, managing a wide range of complex projects and teams from inception to completion.
Since joining Gustafson Porter + Bowman in 2000, Sibylla has worked on projects including HM Treasury Courtyards, Swiss Cottage Open Space in Camden; Citylife Milan Park in Italy, Bay East in Singapore, Hilli Archaeological Park in Abu Dhabi and Seef Lusail Waterfront in Doha. She is currently working on the design and implementation of Taikoo Place in Hong Kong, the design of a planted tower in the City of London and the design development of a landscape masterplan for a research and innovation district in Oxford.
Sibylla’s work harnesses a wide range of different geographical regions and she has an extensive botanical knowledge which supports planting programmes in some of the most challenging climates. This work includes natural habitat restoration, planting on polluted soils, urban woodland creation and complex urban planting schemes.
Sibylla grew up in Germany and studied landscape architecture at Greenwich University in London, subsequently working at practices in Berlin and London. She became a Partner in 2014.
